Prep the Property
Lighting, doors, clutter, and clearing the house before the camera turns on.
A prepped property — clean, bright, and clutter-free. This is what the camera should see.
The camera sees 360 degrees. If you can see it, the camera can see it — and it will be on the internet forever. Do a full walkthrough before touching the camera.
A Lighting is Everything
Turn on ALL lights — overheads, lamps, range hoods, under-cabinet lights. Open all blinds to let in natural light.
B The Door Rule
Doors must remain consistently open or consistently closed for the entire scan. If a door is open in one scan and closed in the next, the software gets confused and will glitch. Prop open all interior doors (including walk-in closets you want to show).
C Hide the Clutter
Hide trash cans, cleaning supplies, and personal items. Close all toilet lids.
D Clear the House
Make sure no pets, homeowners, or contractors are wandering around.
